190 more hospitalised with dengue

Bangladesh reported 190 new patients being hospitalized with dengue fever in 24 hours till Monday (October 25).

Among them, 154 were hospitalised in Dhaka and 36 were diagnosed from outside the capital, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

On the other hand, 87 people have died of dengue infection in the country this year.

Some 861 patients diagnosed with dengue are receiving treatment in the country as of Monday. Of them, 703 patients are receiving treatment at different hospitals in the capital while the remaining 158 were listed outside Dhaka.
