Jatiya Party splits again

The Jatiya Party founded by former President HM Ershad has again split.

Raushan Ershad has been made chairman of the new part of Jatiya Party while Kazi Feroz Rashid has been made executive chairman and Kazi Mamunur Rashid secretary general.

The announcement came at the 10th National Council of the party held at Engineers Institution in the city on Saturday (March 9).

Syed Abu Hossain Babla has been made senior co-chairman. Besides, five more co-chairmen are Shahidur Rahman Tepa, Shafiqul Islam Sentu, Rahgir Al Mahi Saad Ershad, Golam Sarwar Milon and Sunil Shuvo Roy.
