Govt not ready to fight against corona in winter: GM Quader

Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader has said that the government is not visibly ready to fight against the second of wave deadly coronavirus in the upcoming winter.

The Deputy Leader of the Opposition came up with the statement while speaking as chief guest at organizational meeting of the party’s Feni district leaders his political office in the capital’s Banani on Sunday (October 11).

GM Quader said, “Experts believe that the outbreak of coronavirus may increase in the upcoming winter season. No one knows how to deal with that terrible situation. The countrymen want to know what steps would be taken by the government if the situation turns into terrible in winter. Because the government has no visible preparation to fight against the coronavirus in winter.”

He further said, “The health ministry has not had much success in fighting against coronavirus that can get clapping. Currently there is confusion about coronavirus situation. Country’s people do not know whether corona infection is increasing or decreasing.”
