Mosharraf Rubel tests positive for Coronavirus

Cricketer Mosharraf Hossain Rubel was tested positive for Coronavirus. The left arm spinner received the test report on Saturday night (August 8).

Besides, his father was also tested positive for the virus and was kept at ICU of Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

Rubel told risingbd, “Father has been sick for a few days. He was taken to CMH. He is also tested positive for Coronavirus. I have visited regularly. May be that’s why the virus infected me. I have got the test report yesterday. Currently, I am staying at home in isolated condition.”

The 38-year-old left arm spinner who started his national team career in 2008. Although he was not shone at national team but he was regular in domestic leagues. He had to face lot of ups and downs though his cricket journey. Mosharraf Hossain was diagnosed with brain tumour last year and comeback to the cricket field again after recovering from brain tumour.

He played for Walton Central Zone in Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL).
