Players of Bangladesh and New Zealand, officials and support staff have observed a minute’s silence in memory umpire Nadir Shah at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur in Dhaka.

Sports reporters present there also observed silence at the press box.

The 57-year-old former cricketer and umpire Nadir Shah passed away while undergoing treatment in Dhaka on Friday (September 10).

Bangladesh made four changes as the side rested Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Saifuddin and Mahedi Hasan.

The team included Soumya Sarkar, Shamim Hossain, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam in the playing XI.

The visitors have brought back Scott Kuggeleijn, Ben Sears and Jacob Duffy in place of Blair Tickner, Hamish Bennet and Tom Blundell.
