2 more held over SP’s wife Mitu killing

Staff Correspondent: Two more people were held today over the murder of a top police official’s wife in Chittagong.

One of them allegedly is the arms supplier of the assassination.

The detainees are identified as Monir Hossain and Ahtesham Bhola.

Kamruzzaman, Assistant Commissioner (South Zone) of DB South Zone of CMP confirmed the matter.

Earlier, police detained two suspected killers named Motaleb Mia alias Washim, 27 and Anwar Hossain, 28.

Later, they gave confessional statement before the court on Sunday to killing SP Babul Akter’s wife Mahmuda Akter Mitu who was chopped and shot dead on June 5.
