3 family members die in Mirpur gas line explosion

Medical Correspondent: Three members of a family have died in a gas line explosion in the capital’s Mirpur area.
Seven months old Tamim died after two hours of the explosion on Tuesday midnight.
The child’s mother Mina (22), who received 95 per cent burn injury, died at the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Wednesday noon under treatment.
The child’s father Md Manik (35,) who received 35 per cent burn injury, died on Thursday morning, under treatment.
The incident took place at the house of Afsar Uddin, road no.- 4, Mirpur-11.
On information, three units of fire service rushed the spot and doused the fire with an effort of half hour.
After rescuing them, three were admitted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where child Tamim died around 1. 25am.
