Bagerhat Correspondent: Most of the country costal areas have come back to life as the weak cyclonic storm `Komen` has crossed the Chittagong coast with less damages.
Meanwhile, the Met Office has advised number 3 danger alert for ports withdrawing signal number 7 and 5.
Fishermen are taking preparation to head back to sea after a break for Komen panic. The Mongla Port authority and workers are also taking preparations to begin their works, sources said.
Many people who took shelter at cyclone centers and other safe places have begun to return home.
From the Thursday midnight, the cyclonic storm began to cross Sandwip of Chittagong with a wind speed of 60-70 kmph.
According to Met Office, on Friday morning it was crossing the Noakhali area and was moving towards north-west part of the country.
Earlier this morning, the cyclonic storm `Komen` hit the Saint Martin`s Island and Teknaf with a wind speed of 51-61 kmph.
Fishing boats and ships at sea were asked to stay at safer places.
