`Next polls will be held under PM Hasina`

Staff Correspondent:  As per the country`s constitution, the 11th parliamentary elections will be held within 90 days after January 29, 2019 under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Awami League Advisory Council member and Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed made the clearance on Saturday after paying homage to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman`s grave at Tungipara in Gopalganj.  

He said the BNP chief was demanding elections under a caretaker government, a system that would never return adding that “Nothing resembling a caretaker government will come either.”

The processes to bring back Bangabandhu`s killers are continuing and they must face the trial for killing father of the nation, added Tofail.
