Staff Correspondent: Police on Wednesday arrested two people in connection with the alleged rape of two children at Dakkhin Khan area in the capital.
Police did not disclose the names of the arrestees immediately.
A case has been filed in this connection.
Tapan Chandra Saha, officer-in-charge (OC) of Dakkhin Khan Police Station, confirmed the filing of case against the two people and arrest of them.
The police official said the rape accused were arrested on Wednesday following the case.
Of the physically assaulted victims, one is a tenth grade student at a school in the area and the other one is 10-year old girl.
