BNP must participate in election: Quader

Staff Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said BNP must take part in next general election, even Awami League (AL) does not want them.

In reply to a query, the minister came up with the comment after a joint conference held at Dhanmondi political office of AL president on Friday afternoon.

"Many alliances will be formed ahead of the election. This is a normal culture in democracy. However, these alliances will not last till the polls. The election will be held in fair manner. BNP must participate in it even AL does not want," he said.
