ECNEC approves 9 projects worth over Tk6,393cr

Staff Correspondent: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved nine projects involving Tk 6,393.18 crore.

The approval came at the ECNEC meeting held in the NEC conference room at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal revealed the information at a press briefing after the meeting.

The planning minister said of the total project cost, Tk 5,905.73 crore will come from the government exchequer, Tk 57.3 crore from the organization's own fund while Tk 430.42 crore as project assistance.
