UNO Tariq Salmon made Sr. Assist Secy of cabinet division

Secretariat Correspondent: Tariq Salmon, upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) of Barguna Sadar, has been made senior assistant secretary of the cabinet division.
The public administration ministry issued the order on Monday.
Earlier, the government official had printed the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, drawn by a child, on an invitation card.
Later, he was sued by Barisal Bar Association President Obaidullah Saju for using the drawing, which he claimed was a 'distortion.
