Eastern University Mooting Team crowned Champion

The Eastern University Mooting Team has crowned champion in the Bangladesh National Round of the 12th Henry Dunant Memorial Moot Court Competition 2021.

It has received the Best Memorial Award as well. Now the winner is scheduled to participate in the Asia Pacific Round to be held online in Hong Kong in March 2022.

Eastern University Mooting Team consists of two mooters- Ismail Ahmmed Chisty, Sanjida Haider Suha (LL.M students), and one researcher, Susmita Ghosh (LLB Honours student). The team was mentored by Mr. A.B.M Imdadul Haque Khan, Chairman, Department of Law.

It is worth noting that it is one of the most prestigious international humanitarian law moot court competitions where teams from all over the world participate.

The same team won the Regional Round of the International Environmental Law Moot Competition held 0n 23rd to 27th November in Seoul and qualified to compete in the final round in Florida in April 2022.
