Hefajat leader Shahinur Pasha arrested

Detective Branch (DB) of police has arrested Advocate Shahinur Pasha, the central legal affairs secretary of the newly-dissolved committee of Hefajat-e-Islam and former MP of Sunamganj-3 constituency.

A team of DB police arrested him from Bankalapara Abbasi Jame Mosque of Sylhet city on Thursday midnight.

Officer-in-Charge of Airport Thana Md Moinul Zakir confirmed the mews.

Shahinur Pasha was elected as an MP in a by-election at the end of the four-party coalition government rule.
