Missing mother, daughter found dead in Bandarban

The bodies of a woman and her daughter who went missing while taking a bath in a hillock on the way back from Bandarban Sadar Upazila have been recovered. 

Another child still remained missing in this connection.

The deceased were identified as Krisnati Tripura, 44, wife of late Diambo Tripura and her daughter Bajerung Tripura, 13. Their son Prodip Tripura, 8, has not been recovered yet.

Sohag Rana, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bandarban Sadar police station, confirmed the news on Thursday (September 16) morning.

Rescue operation is underway to find out the missing boy, the OC said.
