Formation of advisory committee on HSC results this week

Due to corona pandemic, Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations are not being held this year. Results will be evaluated based on the results of JSC and SSC examinations.

In this case, the government will take suggestions from an advisory committee that will be formed this week.

According to ministry sources, the results of the past JSC and SSC examinations will be assessed and the results of HSC will be published in December. An eight-member committee comprising an additional secretary of the ministry will be formed. The committee will suggest the Ministry of Education for preparing the results.

The committee is being formed to find out ways to evaluate the marks of the previous two public examinations of the students and university admission system. The final decision will be taken on the basis of the suggestions of this committee.
