DU to cancel admission test process in ‘Gha’ ‘Cha’ units

The authorities of Dhaka University (DU) have decided not to hold admission tests for D (integrated) and F (fine arts) units to tackle forgery in admission tests.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the university's deans committee on Sunday (November 8). Engineering and technology department dean professor Dr Md Hasanuzzaman confirmed the matter.

He said, the admission process of this year will be held maintaining existing rules. But, admission tests will be held in three units from the 2021-22 academic year.

Social science faculty dean professor Dr Sadeka Halim said that it has also been proposed to change the name of the admission test of the ‘Kha’ unit of the Faculty of Arts.
