Trash in edu institutions: Principal show caused, DSHE officer suspended

All schools and colleges in the country have resumed their teaching activities today, Sunday (Sept 12) after around one and a half years of closure due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
As part of the preparation, authorities of schools and colleges were asked to clean classrooms. But the principal of Azimpur Government School and College in the capital allegedly kept the classrooms unclean not following the directive properly. Later, the principal was served a show cause and an officer of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) was suspended temporarily for his alleged involvement in the act.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Sunday (September 12) morning visited the school and ordered the authorities concerned to suspend them temporarily.
Later, the DSHE in a letter show caused the principal of Azimpur Government School and College and temporarily suspended one of its officers.
