Students take to streets as exams postponed without notice

Students of seven colleges affiliated with University of Dhaka (DU) have blocked the Nilkhet intersection in the capital protesting the decision to postpone their exams without prior notice.

The students started their demonstration by blocking the Nilkhet intersection on Saturday (January 22) morning.

The agitating students claimed that today was the last day of their exams but they came to know after arriving at the centres that the exam scheduled for today was postponed.

The honors second year examination was scheduled to be held in 2018. However, it started on Monday (November 21) in 2021 and was supposed to end today, according to the agitating students.
