‘Problems can be solved through discussions’

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said resignation of the vice chancellor is not a solution. The problems can be solved through discussion.

The minister said this while addressing a press briefing at her official residence in the capital on Wednesday (January 26).

She said, "We hope students will call off their strike. All of their allegations and all the incidents in the university will be scrutinized. Proper steps will be taken against those who have made negligence of duty." 

“If the VC resigns, the problem will not be solved. One VC will go, another VC will come. Problems will exist there. The resignation of the VC will not impact the problems," she added.
