Question paper leak: Headmaster put on remand

Head teacher of Nehal Uddin Girls High School Lutfor Rahman in Kurigram has been put on a three-day remand in connection with the question paper leakage.

Kurigram Chief Judicial Magistrate Md Sumon Ali passed the order on Thursday.

The court will also hear the remand plea for two accused on October 2.

The accused in the case are head teacher of Nehal Uddin Girls High School Lutfor Rahman, teachers Aminur Rahman, Zobaer Rahman, Hamidul Islam, Sohel Al Mamun and office assistant Sujon Mia. 

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations on two more subjects under the Dinajpur Education Board were postponed due to unavoidable circumstances on September 22.  The subjects are – biology and higher math.

Earlier, the board postponed examinations of four subjects- Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Agriculture.
