Global Covid-19 cases pass 4.5 crore

Coronavirus continued to ravage the entire world affecting record 548,814 people in the last 24 hours till 10am on Friday.

In total, the reported infections from the virus have reached 4,54,77,552 worldwide till Saturday morning.

Besides, the virus has killed 11,87,023 people globally, according to tracking website Worldometer.

The US is the worst-hit country with highest cases and deaths in the world at 9,212,767 and 234,177 respectively while India has 2nd highest cases of 8,088,046 and third highest fatalities of 121,131 and Brazil has 2nd highest deaths of 159,033 and third highest cases of 5,496,402.

Coronavirus has affected 213 countries and territories around the world and two international conveyances.
