Law enforcers ready face any adverse situation: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said there may be many kinds of fears like militant attacks ahead of Eid. Law enforcement agencies are alert over the issues. They are ready to face any adverse situation.

The Minister told this to reporters at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

He said there had been many types of militant attacks in the country. The militants were arrested and explosives were recovered from their possessions. We have largely controlled militancy. But they can try to strengthen their activities. Police, RAB and intelligence agencies are always working to foil their attempt.

We never said that militancy has been uprooted from the domain of the country. We keep them under control. Militancy is not only domestic crisis, but also a global problem. Different countries of the world are fighting against it,’ he added.
