MP Monirul, Anwar take oaths

Members of the Parliament (MP) Kazi Monirul Islam (Dhaka-5) and Anwar Hossain Helal (Noagaon-6), who were elected in the by-polls, have taken oaths.

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath in the Parliament Building on Wednesday (October 28).

Senior Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat Zafar Ahmed Khan hosted the oath taking ceremony.

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Fazle Rabbi Mia, Chief Whip Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury, Whip Iqbalur Rahim MP, Mahabub Ara Begum Gini MP and Abu Saeed Al Mahmood Swapan MP were present at the moment.

After taking oaths, two MPs signed the oath book.
