Fire at garment factory in Kamalapur

A fire that broke out at a garments factory near the BRTC bus depot in the capital's Kamalapur area this morning has been brought under control.
Kamrul Hasan, a duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, confirmed the news.
The fire originated at the 6th floor of the building around 7:30 am on Sunday (January 24). On information, 10 units of the fire service rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, he said.
Details including the cause of the fire and its casualty could not be known immediately.
