Covid-19: Bangladesh hits record high 83 deaths

Bangladesh has reported the highest ever single-day death of coronavirus again.

A total of 83 deaths from coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hours, which is the highest ever single-day death toll of the virus so far, raising the total number of deaths to 9,822 across the country.

Besides, a total of 7,201 new cases of the virus detected in over the same period, raising the total number of infections to 6,91,957 across the country.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Monday (April 12).
