Bangladesh reports 28 more Covid-19 deaths

Bangladesh reported 28 deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, raising the toll to 12,376 across the country.

Besides, some 1, 354 new cases were detected over the same period, raising the total number of infected cases to 7,89,080 across the country so far.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Sunday (May 23).

A total of 899 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 7,30,697, the release said.
