Police charge baton to disperse E-orange customers

Police has charged baton to disperse a rally of E-orange customers in the city.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Ramna division) Sajjadur Rahman, E-orange customers held a protest rally, blocking roads in Press Club and High Court areas from Thursday morning. At one stage, they tried to go to the commerce ministry to present a memorandum but police barred them. Later, police charged baton to disperse the E-orange customers when they tried to block the Motsho Bhaban intersection in the city.
Police also arrested several E-orange customers.
They protested the uncertainty over the delivery of pending orders by the e-commerce platform E-orange and demanded brining Sohel Rana back to the country and giving him punishment.
