What physician writes in suicide note

‘Life and death are equal, there is no difference between survival. Nobody is responsible for my death,’ wrote Joydeb Chandra Das, 25, a physician who was found dead in a flat in capital’s Nikunja of Khilkhet area on Sunday morning.

Police officials started investigation over the incident based on the suicide note.

Faruk Hossain, deputy commissioner (DC), media wing of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), told risingbd that it primarily seems a suicide. Because he took injections in his body before he died. In addition, multiple syringes were found next to the body. A note was also found in his left hand stating that no one was responsible for the death. An autopsy is still being conducted to determine the cause of death.

When asked risingbd. the police official said, “We are working on why he took his life. The note suggests it may have been due to a love affair. We are working on that.”
