Murad Hassan to be interrogated if necessary: Joint Commissioner

The detective branch (DB) of police will interrogate Murad Hassan if necessary over his recent remarks and a phone conversation with film actress Mahiya Mahi.
Harun Or Rashid, joint commissioner of DB, mentioned this on Tuesday saying that they have information.
The joint commissioner said if anyone makes specific allegation they will take steps to interrogate the matter.
Earlier, State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murad Hassan sent his resignation letter to the ministry.
On Monday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina ordered the state minister to resign from cabinet for making derogatory and indecent comments on videos.
An audio of Murad Hassan containing derogatory and indecent comments went viral on social media that sparked a debate.
