1.43 crore people administered booster dose

As of May 22, a total of 1.43 crore booster doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered to prevent the spread of the virus across the country. Of them, 1,28,822 people have been administered the booster dose yesterday.

“A total of 12,87,15,701 people have been administered the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines while 11,72,27,074 received the second dose across the country since the countrywide vaccination campaign was launched on February 7 last year. And a total of 1,42,97,774 people have been administered the booster dose during the period,” according to data issued by Directorate General of Health Services(DGHS).
