Muktijoddha Mancha celebrates founding anniversary

Muktijoddha Mancha celebrated its founding anniversary across the country on Tuesday (October 4).
A team led by its spokesperson and Dhaka University Professor Dr. AKM Jamal Uddin paid tributes to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi-32 in the city at noon. A procession was also brought out.
A discussion meeting was held at RC Majumdar auditorium of Dhaka University in the afternoon.
Former National Human Rights Commission Chairman Prof. Dr. Mizanur Rahman was present as chief guest and leader of Muktijoddha Sangsad Central Command Council Amir Hossain Molla was present as the special guest.
Conducted by General Secretary of Muktijoddha Mancha Sabiha Mahfuj Nila, the meeting was addressed, among others, by media cell chief Imdadul Haque Toyeb and Joint General Secretary Khokon Mia. After the discussion meeting, a cake was cut.
Marking the anniversary, a team of the organization placed wreaths at the mazar of Bangabandhu in Tungipara of Gopalganj.
