Opposition Leader in the parliament Begum Raushan Ershad was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital after she suddenly fell sick on Thursday (April 29) night.
Mamun Hassan, Information and Public Relations Officer of the Opposition Leader, confirmed the matter on Friday (April 30) noon.
He said, “She was fasting of Ramadan. She had been suffering from dehydration due to extreme heat. She also acidity problem. Later, she was admitted to CMH around 9:00 pm on Thursday. There she tested sample for coronavirus and got negative report. Her physical condition developed. She is likely to return home on Saturday (May 1).”
