Tabith Awal injured in Banani attack

BNP leader Tabith Awal has been injured as a group of unidentified people attacked a rally in Banani in the capital. He has been admitted to a hospital in city.

The incident took place in Banani’s Kamal Ataturk Avenue at around 7:45pm on Saturday (September 17).

BNP Chairperson's press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan said that Chhatra League and Juba League activists carried out the attack at BNP’s candlelit procession.

BNP joint secretary general Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal said, before our program Chhatra League and Juba League were seen bringing a procession there. At one stage, they attack us, leaving many leaders and activists injured critically.
