AL factional clash in Kushtia: Another dies

Kushtia: Another person named Shahanur Islam (42) has died after a factional clash of Awami League at Bakhil village under Kushtia Sadar upazila.

He died on Tuesday night at Kushtia General Hospital while he was undergoing treatment.
Earlier, two people died in the incident.

Shahanur Islam was the joint general secretary of Kushtia Sadar upazila Awami League and supporter of running Chairman Keramot Ali. He was the son of Marfot Mondal of Bakhil village.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kushtia Islami University Thana Ratan Sheikh said two people-Billal Hossain and Enamul Haque- were killed and 20 other were injured in an Awami League factional clash at Bakhail village on September 7. Several injured were admitted to Kushtia Sadar Hospital and one of them died on Tuesday night.
