Regent Airways` first Boeing reaches Dhaka

DHAKA, July 6: A Boeing 737-700 aircraft of Regent Airways, one of the country`s top private airliners, has reached Dhaka airport.
It is learnt that the aircraft will be operated on international routes.
The most modern aircraft reached Dhaka on Thursday evening via Europe and Middle East starting journey from Arizona of the United States on July 1 last.
The aircraft has been procured on six years` lease from the International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) of the United States. Regent Airways will operate the aircraft on Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka route as its first international route. Another Boeing 737-700 will be added to the Regent Airways fleet soon, which will be used for operating on Singapore-Bangkok and Hong Kong routes.
The aircraft has a total of 126 seats. Of these, 12 are Business Class and 114 are Economy Class seats. The Boeing 737 has been equipped with all modern facilities and energy-saving technology.
