3 killed in Sirajganj road crash

Sirajganj Correspondent: Three people were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Enayetpur upazila of Sirajganj district on Sunday noon.
The incident took place on Sirajganj-Enayetpur road at Betil area in the upazila around 12:00pm.
Two of the deceased were identified as Abdul Baten, 34, son of one Aziz master of Goprekhi Poschimpara village and van driver Mohammad Ali, 25, son of Kudrat Ali of Ajugara village. Both were from the same upazila.
Md Rashidul Hasan Bishwas, officer in charge (OC) of Enayetpur Police Station, said the driver of a bus heading towards Enayetpur from Sirajganj lost its control over the steering and ran over a covered van when the bus reached Betil area in the upazila, leaving three people including the van driver dead on the spot and five others injured.
The injured were rushed to the upazila health complex.
