Commander Arafat named new RAB spokesperson

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has appointed Commander Arafat Islam as the new director of the Legal and Media Wing, succeeding Commander Khandaker Al Moin.

The elite force issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (April 24).

RAB legal and media wing assistant director ASP Imran Khan confirmed the matter.

Commander Arafat Islam is currently serving as the Commander (CO) of RAB-13. He got charge of the battalion in January last year. He joined RAB in December 2022 on deputation.

Arafat was commissioned in the Bangladesh Navy with the 35th BMA Long Course in 1995.
