2 countries working together to unearth Anar’s murder mystery: FM

Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said both Bangladesh and India are working together to find out the mystery over the murder of Jhenaidah-4 constituency MP Anwarul Azim Anar in Kolkata of India.

Informing that the murder incident is under investigation, he said that the mystery over the MP murder will be unearthed soon.

He said this while replying to a question from journalists at the end of a meeting at the National Press Club on Thursday (May 23) noon.

The foreign minister said, “Our High Commission office in Kolkata is in close contact with Kolkata authorities, Indian authorities and Indian police. As the matter is under investigation, we can’t provide further details right now.”
