Bangladesh set 182-run target for Papua New Guinea

Bangladesh have set a 182-run target for Papua New Guinea in the T20 World Cup 2021 Group Stage match at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman on Thursday (October 21).

The Tigers, thanks to Mohammudullah’s brilliant half century, scored 181 runs losing seven wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan scored 46 runs from 37 balls hitting three over boundaries and a boundary.

Besides, Liton Das, Afif Hossain and Mohammad Saifuddin posted 29, 21 and 19 respectfully.

For PNG, Kabua Morea, Damien Ravu, Assad Vala picked two wickets each for 26, 40 and 26 runs respectfully.

Earlier, winning toss, Bangladesh opted to bat first.
