Four of a family found dead in Satkhira

Police has recovered the dead bodies of a family at Kalaroa upazila in Satkhira.
Police recovered the bodies on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as hatchery owner Shahinur Rahman, son of Shahajan Ali at Khalsi village, his wife Sabina Khatun, 30, son Siam Hossain Mahi, 9, and daughter Tasnim, 6.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kalaroa Thana Haran Chandro Pal confirmed the news.
Raihanul Islam, Shahinur’s younger brother, who was sleeping in a nearby house, said he heard groaning of children from his brother’s house in the morning.
When he went there, he found the door closed from the outside, he said, adding that he saw the shocking incident when he entered the house.
Police said the reason behind the incident could not be known immediately but the matter is being investigated.
