19 universities to hold admission test in cluster system

Nineteen universities of the country will hold admission test under cluster system for the session of 2020-021.

The test will be held on three subjects-- Humanities, Commerce and Science under the combined system. There will be a direct admission test in the public universities. Question papers will be prepared based on the syllabus of higher secondary.

The decision was taken at a view exchange meeting with the vice-chancellors of general, science and technology universities on Tuesday (December 1).

The 19 universities are: Islamic University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Khulna University, Hazi Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Maulana Bhasani Science and Technology University, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Jagannath University, Cumilla University, Jatiya Kobi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Jashore Science and Technology University, Begum Rokeya University, Pabna Science and Technology University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University, Barishal University, Rangamati Science and Technology University, Rabindra University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Sheikh Hasina University and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University.
