Pickup turns turtle, killing 2 in Bandarban

Two workers were killed and three others injured as pickup turned turtle in Lama upazila of Bandarban.

The incident took place at Napiter Jhiri area on Lama-Gozalia road on Saturday (April 17) afternoon.

The deceased were known as Md Manik, 35, resident of Brickfield area of Gozalia, and Suihlasing Marma, 40, resident of Marma Gainda para.

Lama Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter.
