Fire at Chattogram slum

A fire broke out at Devpahar slum under Chawkbazar Police Station in Chattogram city on Friday noon.

The fire broke out around 11:45am. Being informed, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze with an effort of one hour.

Deputy Assistant Director of fire service Newton Das confirmed the matter.
