Dhaka’s rail communication with North Bengal restored after 12 hrs

Dhaka’s rail communications with North Bengal have been restored 12 hours after the derailment of a train near Mouchak rail station of Kaliakoir in Gazipur on Friday night.
The rail communications with North Bengal were restored around 9:45 am on Saturday (May 28).
Earlier, the two compartments of a train named ‘Panchagarh Express’ derailed at Gazipur around 10pm on Friday (May 27).
Rescue operation started around 2am following the derailment of the train near Mouchak rail station.
A four-member probe committee was formed in connection with the derailment of the train.
Mouchak Rail Station Master Shahinur Rahman Shahin confirmed the news.
