AL leader hacked to death in Chandpur

A local Awami League leader was hacked to death by miscreants in London Ghat area of Chandpur district town on Saturday (September 24).

The deceased was known as Md Rafikullah, a member of the district Awami League committee. He was a eminent business and freedom fighter.

Additional police super (crime and finance) Sudipta Roy said, we have managed to collect some evidences including a knife from the spot. Details can be said later.

Meanwhile, police detained a youth named Miraz from the spot.

Earlier, this evening, the victim was stabbed at his residence. Later, he was taken to Sadar Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
