Fire at Bogura filling station

A fire broke out at a filling station while unloading oil from a lorry at Tinmatha area of Bogura.

The lorry full of diesel and petrol and two other trucks stationed there caught the fire.

The incident took place at North Bengal Filling Station around 8:45 pm on Monday (November 28).

Sultan Ahmed Ratan, cashier at the filling station, said, “A lorry loaded with diesel and petrol was brought here for unloading from Baghabari of Sirajganj and a fire erupted when the unloading began around 9 pm.”

Confirming the incident, deputy assistant director Kamrul Hasan of Fire Service & Civil Defense Station in Bogura said being informed, four firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control within 15 minutes.

We are investigating to find out the reason behind the fire, he said.
