1,463 teachers-employees being enrolled in MPO

A total of 1,463 teachers and employees are being enrolled in Monthly Pay Order (MPO) in the secondary and higher secondary level.

The decision has been taken in an MPO meeting of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on Tuesday (November 17).

DSHE Director General (DG) Professor Syed Mohammd Golam Faruk presided over the meeting.

It was learned that at the school level, 1,112 teachers and employees are being enrolled in MPO. Of them, 57 are from Barisal region while 110 from Chittagong, 54 from Cumilla, 221 from Dhaka, 81 from Khulna, 161 from Mymensingh, 184 from Rajshahi, 177 from Rangpur and 67 from Sylhet region.

At the college level, 351 teachers and employees are being enrolled in MPO. Of them, 33 are from Barisal region while 6 from Chittagong, 11 from Cumilla, 21 from Dhaka, 63 from Khulna, 18 from Mymensingh, 109 from Rajshahi, 77 from Rangpur and 12 from Sylhet region.
