PEC exams won’t be held this year

The examinations of Primary Education Completion (PEC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee Education Completion will not be held this year.
Senior secretary of primary and mass education ministry Md Aminul Islam Khan confirmed the matter on Monday (June 6).
Earlier, a decision was taken to scrap examinations of the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) for this year. These exams were not held in the previous two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On Sunday (June 5), Education Minister Dipu Moni made the announcement of scrapping JSC and JDC exams.
